At Sapphire Ribbons, we offer structured lesson programs tailored to riders of all ages, from their very first time in the saddle to elite competitors on the national stage. No matter your starting point, our focus remains on correct fundamentals, quality horsemanship, and developing a confident partnership with your horse.

We offer comprehensive training across multiple disciplines, including English, Hunt Seat, Western, and Halter. Lessons are available using your own horse or on one of our trusted, experienced lesson horses.

📌 Lesson Scheduling Priority Policy

Lesson scheduling shall be offered with priority given to riders enrolled in Sapphire Ribbons Horseman Lesson Programs, monthly lesson packages, or other recurring lesson programs designated by Sapphire Ribbons. Individual lessons, make-up lessons, and occasional riders will be scheduled based on remaining availability.

Sapphire Ribbons reserves the right to establish lesson schedules, assign lesson times, and prioritize enrollment in a manner that best serves the lesson program and facility operations. Enrollment in a recurring lesson program does not guarantee a specific day, time, instructor, or horse.

🌟 Beginner Package

Perfect for new riders learning horse safety, grooming, tacking, and basic riding skills.

• Package Price: $175 (Save $25!)

• What’s Included:

  • (4) 45 min private/group riding lessons

  • Fundamental horse safety education

  • Hands-on grooming and tacking instruction

  • Foundational riding position and steering

• Expiration Policy: Beginner Package lessons must be used within sixty (60) days of the date of purchase. Any unused lessons remaining after the sixty (60) day expiration period shall be forfeited and are non-refundable, unless otherwise approved in writing by Sapphire Ribbons.

 

🏆 Horseman Package

Designed for riders seeking consistent weekly instruction and a more serious commitment to advancing their horsemanship and riding skills.

This is an intensive program intended for riders who already possess a basic foundation in horse care, grooming, horse handling, and tacking. Riders should be able to independently groom and tack a horse with minimal assistance. The primary focus of this program is to advance the rider's equitation, communication with the horse, confidence, effectiveness in the saddle, and overall riding ability.

• Package Price: $175 (Save $25!)

• Program Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Enrollment in the Horseman Lesson Program is not automatic. Riders must receive approval from Sapphire Ribbons before enrolling.

  • Sapphire Ribbons reserves the right to determine whether a rider possesses the necessary skills, knowledge, maturity, safety awareness, and commitment level required for participation.

  • Lessons may be conducted on a Sapphire Ribbons lesson horse or on an approved personally owned horse.

  • Haul-In Requirements: Trailer-in horses may be permitted with prior approval and must meet all Sapphire Ribbons health requirements, including proof of current vaccinations, a current negative Coggins test, and any required veterinary health documentation before arriving at the facility. Stalling for personally owned horses may be available on a limited basis under separate boarding arrangements.

  • 4 One-Hour sessions of consistent weekly instruction focused on long-term rider development.

  • Individualized coaching, progressive skill building, and goal setting tailored to your abilities.

  • Advanced development of equitation, balance, position, and effectiveness in the saddle.

  • Deeper education regarding horse behavior, communication, tack fitting, and stable management.

  • Preparation for future leasing, horse ownership, showing, or advanced riding opportunities.

  • Priority lesson scheduling over individual lesson bookings.

  • Potential opportunities to participate in clinics, shows, demonstrations, or advanced activities when available.

⚠️ Payment & Facility Policies

Please review our operational policies thoroughly before booking your sessions:

• Payment: Lesson fees are due before the lesson begins. Lesson packages must be paid in full prior to the first scheduled lesson. All package lessons expire exactly 60 days from the date of purchase.

• Cancellations: A strict 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. Missed lessons or cancellations made without proper 24-hour notice will be charged in full.

• Rider Attire: Proper riding boots, safety helmets, and long pants (jeans or jodhpurs) are strictly required for all riders while mounted.

• Minors: Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign all required registration, waiver, and liability forms before handling any horses.

• Weather & Safety Modifications: Sapphire Ribbons reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, shorten, modify, or convert lessons to unmounted instruction at its sole discretion due to weather conditions (including excessive heat or severe cold), poor footing, facility conditions, horse welfare concerns, show schedules, instructor availability, scheduling conflicts, or emergencies. Refunds, make-up lessons, credits, or rescheduling options for modified sessions will be provided at the sole discretion of Sapphire Ribbons.
